Spring Marathon Workshop Series: 1. Injury Prevention tips for Marathon Training [8TH FEB]
2019 SPRING MARATHON RUNNERS - Following the success of last years marathon workshops, we are BACK with a series for those of you currently marathon training for London, Brighton, Manchester, Paris and everything in between!

What will we be covering?
The focus of this workshop will be Injury Prevention tips for your training over the next few months. We will cover the following topics to give you practical tips that you can take away and start implementing straight away. Our combined knowledge of the current evidence and our clinical expertise will be pooled to give you up to date advice on the following:
Training plan - how to distribute your sessions to avoid injury, when it's ok to deviate from your plan.
Strength training - why does it matter? How much and how often?
Long runs - how to recover, myth busting.
Stretching - does it matter? How to get the most from your stretching.
Biomechanical mobility screen - find out which areas YOU should be focusing on to avoid injury
Tea, coffee and snacks will be provided. This is an opportunity to meet like-minded people, learn, pick our brains and have fun! We look forward to seeing you there!
